United Cerebral Palsy is pleased and excited to host the 2011 Annual Conference in one of America’s most vibrant, diverse and exciting cities: New Orleans, LA!

New Orleans- the Crescent City- famous for soulful jazz, Cajun and Creole cuisine, vibrant nightlife and as a city of charm and character and charming characters- will host the 2011 United Cerebral Palsy Annual Conference.

With something for everyone- many of the country’s top restaurants, interesting museums, great jazz, cutting edge galleries and fabulous shopping- New Orleans is a must-see destination and the perfect complement to our conference theme- "Life Without Limits: It’s All Local.”

The conference will be held at the elegant Ritz-Carlton New Orleans; located at the gateway to the French Quarter, the Ritz-Carlton combines the stately elegance the city is known for with superb service and amenities.

The UCP Conference is scheduled to immediately follow New Orleans’s favorite street fair, the French Quarter Festival.  Come early and sample the Quarter’s finest cuisine and enjoy some of the world’s greatest jazz, all within steps of the host hotel.

The 2011 Conference, "Life Without Limits: It’s All Local”, will help UCP affiliates build active networks of engaged individuals who can help advance the rights and opportunities for people with disabilities.

Topics include cutting edge programs that will help build coalitions from the community level up and then leverage these resources to support advocacy and advancement for people with disabilities at the local, state and national levels.
